Denver Art Museum - On the first Saturday of every month, you can enjoy the DAM's art collections and non-ticketed exhibitions without spending a dime!  Free general admission does not include ticketed exhibitions, which require a fee.  Free tickets are available on-site starting at 10 am.  

Panera Bread Castle Rock Grand Opening!!! - Sat, May 5, 6am – 6pm, 32 E. Allen St, Castle Rock CO (map)  I am most excited about this one!  To celebrate the opening of this new store, beginning at 6:00 a.m., take advantage of these fun freebies: * The first 1,000 guests inside the café will receive a FREE coffee tumbler with FREE brewed coffee refills thru May 20th. * Each guest will also receive a free, freshly-baked Cinnamon Crunch Bagel.


Dawn Chorus - A Celebration of Bird Songs (Lakewood)  Sat, May 5, 7am – 8am, Crown Hill Park, 9307 W 26th Ave, Lakewood CO (map)
Join this early morning bird walk through the Kestrel Pond Refuge as we listen for the songs of resident and migrant birds.  All levels of birding experience welcome.  Ages 6-adult.  Registration for this program opens at 9:00 AM one month before the date of the program.  If you are registering during this time, but space is no longer available, please call Lookout Mountain Nature Center at 720-497-7600 to be placed on a waiting list.

Bluff Lake Nature Center - Saturday, 5/5 Bluff Lake Birders - 1st Saturday of every month -  Grab your binoculars and join Bluff Lake Volunteer Naturalists as they guide you through the trails at Bluff Lake in search of avian adventures. Throughout the recorded history of Bluff Lake, more than 130 different species of birds have been spotted at Bluff Lake.

The Children's Museum of Denver Tuesday, 5/8 - 1st Tuesday night of every month play for free from 4-8pm - 2121 Children's Museum Drive, Denver, CO 80211, 303-561-0111

Golden Super Cruise Car Show (first Saturday monthly May-October) - Saturday, 5/5 - This is probably the best free car show you will ever see and it's one of the best free things to do in Golden.  Along South Golden Road between Golden High School and the Sonic Drive-In. Do not park in the King Sooper's parking lot.
